WWE Money in the Bank 2014 Preview

The 2014 Money in the Bank takes place this evening in the TD Garden in Boston. At the end of this, we will have a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. So, who will it be? Let's look at the card.

Big E will once agian take on Rusev. This shouldn't take long for Rusev to win here.
Predicted Winner: Rusev

The team of Rybaxel will take on the team of Goldust and Stardust. This is an interesting one but I can see Rybaxel pulling it out of the bag here.
Predicted Winners: Rybaxel

Naomi will be challenging Paige for the Divas Championship. Whilst it would be interesting if Naomi does win, I can't see it. Therefore, Paige to win here.
Predicted Winner: Paige

In the other Divas match, Summer Rae will face Layla with Fandango as the special guets referee. Whilst I like all the competitors, I seriously do not have the slightest fuck about this match. However, I do have to make a prediction so...fuck it, Summer Rae to win.
Predicted Winner: Summer Rae

The Wyatt Family will challenge The Usos for the Tag Team Championship. This could be a good match and I'm going for The Wyatts to win here.
Predicted Winners: The Wyatt Family

The Money in the Bank ladder match will be between Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Rob Van Dam and Kofi Kingston. Bad News Barrett was supposed to take part but he suffered a seperated shoulder so is unlikely to compete.
This is a tough one to call but I'm going for Seth Rollins, with some help from the authority, winning here.
Predicted Winner: Seth Rollins

There will be another ladder match for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship between Sheamus, Corporate Demon Kane, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Cesaro, Randy Orton and John Cena. This should be a good match to watch and it would be a change of pace to see someone new like Cesaro win it. However, I feel that Cena will win here.
Predicted Winner: John Cena

I hope to put up reviews of Slammiversary and Money in the Bank over the next few days. Until then , I hope you guys enjoy the show.

TNA Slammiversary XII Preview

Slammiversary XII (technically X) takes place this evening at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. Will MVP's plan to have complete power succeed? Let's look at the card.

Mr Anderson  will take on James Storm in a match that could go either way. I'm going for Storm to win here.
Predicted Winner: James Storm

Willow will take on Magnusand I still don't get why Jeff Hardy would go with this gimmick. Anyway, I believe that Willow, or whatever the fuck his name is, will win here.
Predicted Winner: Willow

There will be a ladder match for the TNA X-Division Championship as Sanada  faces the challenge of  Manik, Tigre Uno, Crazzy Steve, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards. I think this could be a fun match and I think that Tigre Uno will win here.
Predicted Winner: Tigre Uno

Two of my favourite wrestlers in TNA right now, Bully Ray and Ethan Carter III, will face each other in a Texas Death Match. This could go either way but I believe that EC3 will scrape his way to victory.
Predicted Winner: Ethan Carter III

Gail Kim will challenge Angelina Love for the Knockouts Championship. This is a tough one to call but I think that Love will retain here.
Predicted Winner: Angelina Love

Samoa Joe  will take on Bobby Lashley with the winner taking part in the World Championship match. I would love Joe to win here but I think that it's more likely that Lashley will be victorious.
Predicted Winner: Bobby Lashley

In the other match to dtermine the third wrestler in the main event, Austin Aries will take on Kenny King. King is not Champioship material and, unless it's under questionable circumstances, he won't win here.
Predicted Winner: Austin Aries

In the main event for the World Championship, in a steel cage, Eric Young  will take on those two winners. I can see MVP's plan for total power having a slight setback so I'm going for Young to win here.
Predicted Winner: Eric Young

I won't get to see this til Wednesday evening. Until then, I hope you guys enjoy the show.

WWE Payback 2014 Review

WWE Payback 2014 took place last Sunday at the AllState Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Last year's event was really good. Will this one be the same? Let's look at the card.

The Pre-Show match was between Hornswoggle and El Torito in a har vs mask match. I was unable to see this match because I don't have the WWE Network;. However, I saw the ending that they shown later on in the night. The end comes when Hornswoggle pulls off the mask. Unfortunately, El Torito had another mask on underneath and takes advantage of Hornswoggle's premature celebration to hit the bullsault to get the win. Afterwards, Hornswoogle had a very badly done haircut.
Winner: El Torito
Predictions: 1 for 1

The first match of the event is for the United States Championship as Cesaro challenges Sheamus. The match goes back and forth with some cool spots such as Cesaro countering a battering ram into an European uppercut; Sheamus hitting 3 knees from the top rope; and Cesaro countering a Brogue kick into a German suplex pin. Sheamus almost wins it with the white noise then he applies the Texas cloverleaf. Cesaro manages to get to the rope then does the giant swing. However, Sheamus employs the SuperCena card and puts Cesaro into a small package to get the win.  Up until the end, I really enjoyed the match. However, the ending really bugged me.
Winner: Sheamus
Predictions: 1 for 2

We now get a tag team match with Cody Rhodes and Goldust facing Curtis Axel and Ryback. After a little while, Axel and Ryback work to wear down Goldust. Cody does get the hot tag and hits the Cross Rhodes on Ryback to almost win the match. Cody then goes for the disaster kick but Ryback catches him and hits the Shell Shock to get the win. Afterwards, Cody grabs a microphone and states that Goldust needs a better tag team partner than him. I enjoyed the match and it looks like it could lead to a Goldust/Cody feud. That is something that I'm looking forward to.
Winners: Curtis Axel and Ryback
Predictions: N/A

Next is Rusev continuing his quest to destroy all the black wrestlers in the WWE as he faces Big E. Big E does get in some offence but it turns out to be in vain as Rusev hits a German suplex to get the advantage. Big E then spears Rusev off the apron to the floor and, back in the ring, he goes for the splash but Rusev hits a brutal superkick. Rusev then applies the Accolade to get the win. Whilst I thought that the match was too short for my liking, it was a good match.
Winner: Rusev
Predictions: 2 for 3

Now we get Kofi Kingston taking on Bo Dallas. Well, that seemed to be the plan as the Corporate Demon Kane turns up. Bo Dallas goes “fuck this” and leaves and Kane proceeds to completely destroy Kofi. After Kane hits a chokeslam and a Tombstone piledriver then leaves; Bo grabs a microphone and tells Kofi to bo-lieve. I'm torn about the Bo Dallas character. His character on NXT was absolutely brilliant with him always being optimistic and acting like a five year old girl when upset. However, it does seem to have it being shoved down our throats at the minute, which might not be a good idea.

Anyway, we get Rob Van Dam challenging Bad News Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship. The match goes back and forth and RVD misses a 5-star frog splash and Barrett misses the Bullhammer but does hit the winds of change for 2. Barrett does eventually hit the Bullhammer to get the win and retain the Championship. I thought it was a pretty decent match and it was good to see Barrett deliver some bad news to RVD and his fans.
Winner: Bad News Barrettt
Predictions: 3 for 4

Next we get to see whether Daniel Bryan will vacate his World Heavyweight Championship due to his neck injury because if he doesn't, Stephanie McMahon will fire his wife Brie Bella. Bryan decides to keep his title and Brie quits the WWE. I might be in the minority here, but I think that Bryan is being a dick here. I can see Bryan's point about the Authority being determined to make sure that he doesn't become Champion. However, the fact remains that Bryan is injured for an indefinite amount of time. Stephanie is right, Bryan is being selfish. John Cena's involvement doesn't make sense either. Cena is supposed to be the boy scout and he must realise that Bryan is in the wrong here. I hope that Bryan will be back wrestling in the near future otherwise they may have to go in another direction.

We now get a match that I thought would be the main event: Bray Wyatt facing John Cena in a last man standing match. Cena, not wanting to face all the Wyatts by himself, gets The Usos to even things up. Both guys get in some good offence in the early going. Wyatt hits the Sister Abigail to put Cena down for 8. After Cena hits an AA, the Wyatts and The Usos get involved. Jimmy Uso manages to take them out (including himself) with a top rope corkscrew to the outside. Wyatt and Cena start using chairs on each other before Wyatt suplexes Cena through a table for a count of 8. Cena almost kills Wyatt by throwing the steel steps into him, which gets a count of 8. Wyatt hits Cena with another Sister Abigail on the outside, which keeps both guys for a count of 6. After Cena hits an AA on the outside, the Wyatts run in and attack Cena and he is saved by the Usos returning. They once again take each other out by them all going through tables. Wyatt sends Cena through the barrier into the timekeeper's area. That keeps them down both for a count of 8. The match then continues through the crowd up to the technical area by the stage. Cena then hits the AA, sending Wyatt through a box used to carry the electrical equipment. Cena then puts another box on top to effectively entomb Wyatt to get the win. I really enjoyed this match. However, the one thing that bugs me about last man standing matches is when someone pins down their opponent with something to get the win. I'm not a big fan of those endings. Despite that, this is probably one of my favourite last man standing matches ever.
Winner: John Cena
Predictions: 4 for 5

The Divas Championship is on the line as Alicia Fox challenges Paige. Paige overwhelms Fox with her offence and she goes off to regroup. Fox does get back into it and hits an impressive tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Paige gets back into it with some clothelines and eventually gets the win by applying the Paige Tap Out to get the win. Afterwards, Alicia has a mini temper tantrum and runs away. I thought it was a decent match and they got a lot more time than I thought they would. I think that woman's wrestling is slowly getting better thanks to Sara Del Rey and Norman Smiley training them. I hope that WWE continues with these instead of shitcanning it.
Winner: Paige
Predictions: 5 for 6

The main event is a no holds barred elimination match with Evolution taking on The Shield. After some dominance by The Shield, Evolution get back into it and start to wear down Ambrose. Ambrose does manage to get the hot tag to Reigns who hits a Superman punch to Batista. The match degenerates into an all out brawl and Evolution triple powerbomb through the Spanish announce table. The fighting goes up the aisle and Ambrose and Rollins get destroyed by chairs. Evolution go back to the ring to beat up on Reigns. They continue the fight up to the aisle to the titantron where Rollins does crossbody from the titantron to all of Evolution. Rollins and Batista go back into the ring. Reigns spears Batista and Rollins covers to get the first elimination. Orton RKOs  Rollins but Reigns stops the cover. Ambrose then hits a headlock driver onto a chair on Orton to get him eliminated. Despite Triple H's best efforts, it was in vain as he receives a top rope knee by Rollins followed by a spear by Reigns to get the win.

I really enjoyed this match and I was very surprised that The Shield did a clean sweep. I would say that I hope that The Shield would go on to bigger and better things. However, Seth Rollins decided to betray the group and join up with Triple H. Whilst I'm surprised that they would do this, I thought that Rollins turning heel was a really good move. If anyone was going to turn heel, I thought it would be Amborse. The decision to do it with Rollins was I think a good idea and I'm interested to see what they do from here.

I quite enjoyed WWE Payback. I thought it was a good show with some pretty good matches. The next event is Money in the Bank, which is one of my favourite events of the year and I hope it is as good as this one.

WWE Payback 2014 Preview

Promotional poster featuring Triple H.

WWE Payback will be taking place at the AllState Arena just outside Chicago. With Daniel Bryan acting like a bit of a dick and refusing to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. How will the event go this year?

The Pre-Show match will be Hornswoggle taking on El Torito in a hair vs mask match. I can't see Hornswoggle winning this so I guess he is going bald after this match.
Predicted Winner: El Torito

Evolution are facing The Shield in a no holds barred 6 man tag team elimination match. The match they had at Extreme Rules was really good and it will be interesting to see if they could be repeated this time. I think that The Shield will win again here.
Predicted Winners: The Shield

Paige will defend her Divas Championship against Alicia Fox. I quite like what Alicia Fox is doing at the minute and it would be interesting to see her win. However, I believe that Paige will win here.
Predicted Winner: Paige

Bad News Barrett will be challenged by Rob Van Dam for the Intercontinental Championship. I'm enjoying Barrett right now and I can't see him losing here.
Predicted Winner: Bad News Barrett

Cesaro will challenge Sheamus for the United States Championship in what could be a really good match. Cesaro has been on fire since aligning himself with Paul Heyman. That, and the fact that I don't like Sheamus very much, means that I think that Cesaro will be the new United States Champion.
Predicted Winner: Cesaro

Big E  will take on Rusev in a battle of the beasts. I like both guys and they're good to watch. I would like to see Big E win. However, I can see Rusev continuing his winning streak in this match.
Predicted Winner: Rusev

John Cena will once again face Bray Wyatt in a last man standing match. The feud has not been that great over the last month and hopefully this match will end it. I'm going for Cena to win here.
Predicted Winner: John Cena

I won't get to see Payback until next weekend. Until then, I hope you guys enjoy the show.

WWE Extreme Rules 2014

WWE Extreme Rules 2014 took place at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. How extreme will the event go? Let's take a look.

The Pre-Show match was a WeeLC match between El Torito and Hornswoggle.  For this match, everything was small: the tables, ladders and chairs; the referee; even the commentators. Anyway, after a few funny moments, El Torito sends Hornswoggle through a table with a springboard senton and pins him to win the match. This match wasn't anything special but it was funny at times which was perhaps the best way to get people interested in the event.
Winner: El Torito
Predictions: 1 for 1

The first match of the event is a triple threat elimination match between Rob Van Dam, Jack Swagger and Cesaro. The match goes back and forth between the three of them and there was a nice bit where RVD powerbombs Cesaro to the floor followed by Swagger almost clotheslining RVD's head off. Swagger is the first one to be eliminated after getting hit with an impressive superplex by Cesaro, followed by a 5-star frog splash by RVD. After a few more minutes, RVD takes out a dustbin (I assume it's no disqualification) but Cesaro baseball slides the bin into him. RVD goes for the 5-star frog splash but he misses and hits the bin. Cesaro then hits neutraliser, sending RVD onto the bin, to get the victory. I really enjoyed the match, although the commentators annoyed me by them not realising that it was a triple threat elimination match.
Winner: Cesaro
Predictions: 2 for 2

We now get a handicap match with R-Truth and Xavier Woods taking on Alexander Rusev, in which Lana has dedicated the match to Vladimir Putin. Rusev doesn't fuck around here as he proceeds to completely destroy R-Truth and Woods. Woods is practically killed after Rusev hits him with an overhead bell-to-belly suplex on the floor. R-Truth does get some offence in but it's not enough as Rusev applies the Accolade while looking like he couldn't be more bored to get the win. Xavier Woods gets more punishment after the match when he gets hit with a fallaway slam on the floor. As I expected, this was a glorified squash match; although I was slightly surprised that R-Truth was on the offensive for as long as he was.
Winner: Alexander Rusev
Predictions: 3 for 3

Next is the Intercontinental Championship match as Bad News Barrett challenges Big E. Barrett gets in a lot of offence in with big boots and clotheslines. Big E does make a comeback with a few bell-to-belly suplexes and a spear sending Barrett off the apron to the floor. Barrett hits the Winds of Change then Wasteland to almost get the win a couple of times.  Barrett does eventually hit the Bullhammer to get the win and become the new Intercontinental Champion. I thought this match was a lot of fun. I'm not a fan of the Bullhammer being a finishing move but I like Bad News Barrett at the minute and I hope that WWE stick with the gimmick, as it seems to be over.
Winner: Bad News Barrett
Predictions: 4 for 4

Now, a match that I'm really looking forward to: Evolution taking on The Shield. Evolution get to wear down Rollins for a while before Rollins hits an enziguri on Orton. Ambrose hits the hot tag and beats down on Orton, including applying a figure four briefly. Evolution then start to wear down Ambrose for a little while. Triple H goes for the pedigree but it's countered into a back body drop then a DDT by Ambrose. Reigns gets the tag from Ambrose and hits flying clotheslines on everybody. Batista goes for the Batista bomb but he gets a Superman punch instead then the triple powerbomb. It looks like it's over but Triple H and Orton pull Reigns off Batista. Triple H hits the Pedigree then later on, a RKO by Orton on Reigns. It descends into chaos as the fight goes all over the place, including the timekeeper's position and the crowd. There was an awesome bit where Triple H and Orton are beating on Ambrose and Rollins does a crossbody on them from above an exit door. Back in the ring, Batista hits a spinebuster but Reigns responds with a Superman punch then a spear to get the win. This was a brilliant match to watch and whilst I thought that Evolution would win here, I think that The Shield winning is probably the right decision after all.
Winners: The Shield
Predictions: 4 for 5

Next was the steel cage match between Bray Wyatt and John Cena. Cena finds out early on that escaping the cage to win the match is not an option because of Harper and Rowan. There is a nice bi t where Cena is climbing the cage but he has to stop Wyatt from reverse crab walking his way out of the cage door. Later on, after powerbombing Wyatt, Cena tries to go out of the cage door. However, Harper and Rowan prevent him from doing so and this gives Wyatt the chance to recover and keep Cena in the cage. Cena tries to climb the cage and goes over the top but Rowan and later on, Harper stop him from doing so. Wyatt goes for the Sister Abigail but Cena reverses it into the STF. Wyatt tries to crawl his way out of the cage. Cena has to let go of the STF and drags Wyatt back in. Cena hits an AA from the second rope but Harper, who Cena had dragged in earlier, stops the pin. Cena manages to take out the whole Wyatt Family and looks like he is about to go out the cage door. However, the small kid who was in the choir on the previous RAW, appears and sings “He's Got the Whole World in his Hands” to Cena in a really creepy voice. This obviously distrubs Cena and this gives Wyatt the chance to hit Sister Abigail and climb out of the cage to get the win. This was a good match. I liked the choir spot that they did at the last RAW and I thought it would have better served in the lead up to their match at Wrestlemania. However, it now makes sense as they used it to play it into the ending here. I quite enjoyed this feud so far and I hope it continues for a little bit longer.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
Predictions: 5 for 6

The penultimate match is for the Divas Championship as Paige, in her first ever PPV, is challenged by Tamina Snuka. Snuka uses her superior strength to dominate Paige during the match, including airplane spinning her into the crowd barrier. Paige manages to bet back into it and she avoids a superkick and applies a modified scorpion cross lock to get the win. I thought it was a pretty decent match and we saw a little bit more brutality than what we are used with Divas matches. That was refreshing to see.
Winner: Paige
Predictions: 6 for 7

The main event is an Extreme Rules Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as Corporate Demon Kane challenges Daniel Bryan. Kane starts using weapons almost straight away he uses a kendo stick on Bryan. Both guys use everything in their disposal such as kendo sticks, chairs and monitors to beat the crap out of each other. The action goes backstage through the Gorilla position. They end up fighting in the parking lot and Bryan knocks out Kane with a crowbar. Bryan then uses a forklift, that was conveniently nearby, to bring Kane back to the ring. Then Bryan hits a flying headbutt from the forklift for 2. Kane manages to recover and hit a chokeslam for 2. The match continues to go back and forth before Bryan applies the Yes Lock. Kane tries to get out of it using a kendo stick and eventually manages to crawl out of the ring. Bryan tries to do a suicide dive but Kane catches him and chokeslams him through the announce table. Kane then sets up a table then sets it on fire. That turns out to be a bad idea as Bryan sends Kane through the table. Two guys then use fire extinguishers on Kane, disorienting him and giving Bryan the chance to hit the running knee to get the win.  I quite enjoyed this match. However, I think that spots with the forklift and the table on fire might have been better served if they swapped places. I feel that the diving headbutt from the forklift would have been a great ending. Despite it, it was still fun.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
Predictions: 7 for 8

I quite enjoyed Extreme Rules. Some of the matches were good and I thought the Shield/Evolution match is one of the matches of the year. However, I wasn't a fan of the ending of the main event. The next WWE event is Payback and that was a good event last year so hopefully it will be the same.

TNA Sacrifice 2014 Review

TNA Sacrifice took place on Sunday April 27th at the Impact Zone in Orlando. TNA seem to be going in a different direction, focusing more on the TNA Originals. Let's look at the card to see how they do.

The first match is for the Tag Team Championships as The BroMans and DJ Z are challenged by The Wolves. The BroMans have recently been getting themselves disqualified. So, The Wolves get Director of Operations MVP to make it a no disqualification match. The Wolves proceed to beat the shit out of Robbie E, Jesse and DJ Z. DJ Z hits Eddie Edwards with a laptop to give his team the advantage.
Davie Richards gets the hot tag and they get the win after 2 double foot stomps to regain the Championships. It was a fun match and I'm starting to like The BroMans at the minute as they're fun to watch. TNA need to develop a few more tag teams otherwise there is the risk of making the division just The BroMans and The Wolves.
Winner: The Wolves

The next match is a Comitted Match(?) between Samuel Shaw and Mr Anderson. The only way to win the match is to put your opponent into the back of a van and sent to a Psychiatric Hospital. Shaw attempts to use Christy Hemme, the object of his affections, as a shield to get the advantage but Anderson deals with that pretty easily. Shaw uses the Kata-gatame to knock out Anderson then turns his attention to Christy. Christy, after slapping him, manages to get away and Anderson recovers to make a comeback and dominate the match, including doing a rolling senton on the ramp and sending Shaw flying over a guard rail. The action goes backstage and it looks like Shaw is going to win but Christy comes back to knee Shaw in the groin. This gives Anderson the chance to hit the Mic Check and throw Sahw into the van to win the match. The match, in terms of wrestling ability, wasn't great but I thought it told a good story between the three of them. I like Shaw's stalker type gimmick and I wonder if they continue with it as he seems to have lost his feud with Mr Anderson.
Winner: Mr Anderson

Next is a tag team match between the team of Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud and the team of Kurt Angle and Willow. I liked the beginning as both EC3 and Spud are very reluctant to face Angle. After a little while, EC3 and Spud start wearing down Willow before Angle comes in and hits multiple German suplexes on EC3. Eventually, Spud gets hit with a Twist of Fate by Willow, an Angle Slam by Angle and a Swanton Bomb by Willow to get them the win. Whilst I liked the beginning, it felt like a glorified squash match to me and I don't think EC3 should be in that position right now. EC3 has the ability to be a big star in TNA and I wonder if the company see him that way.
Winners: Kurt Angle and Willow

We now get the rubber match in a best of three series between Tigre Uno and Sanada for the X Division Championship. As usual with X Division matches, it goes at a fast pace for the majority of it. Sanada seems to injure his neck when he gets hit by a corkscrew suicide dive. Tigre Uno doesn't help the situation by hitting a release German suplex, sending Sanada's head onto the bottom turnbuckle. Sanada almost wins it by hitting a tiger suplex into a pin. Tigre Uno goes for the Sabretooth Splash but misses and Sanada hits the moonsault to get the win. I really enjoyed this match and I look forward to seeing more matches with Tigre Uno and Sanada in the future.
Winner: Sanada

James Storm, who I'm still getting used to being a heel, takes on Gunner in a “I Quit” match. Give the level of this feud, I can see this being a brutal match. Both competitors use whatever's available to beat each other down, such as the steel steps, kendo sticks, dustbins and steel chairs. After a while, Storm hits Gunner in the head with a beer bottle. While Gunner looks like he's done and is bleeding quite profusely, he tells the referee that he doesn't want to quit. Storm applies a Boston crab. Gunner gets to the ropes and Storm beats on the referee. Storm whips the fuck out of Gunner's back with a belt then hits the Last Call. Gunner gets fired up and makes a comeback then hits 2 Hangar 18s. Gunner then superplexes Storm onto a guard rail on top of 2 chairs. Gunner then stabs Storm in the head with a hard of glass to make Storm say “I Quit” and win the match. I thought the match was pretty decent. However, I wasn't a fan of the ending as I thought it was a but extreme for Gunner, the face in this feud, to stab his opponent in the head with glass. Despite that, I thought some spots were good.
Winner: Gunner

The Knockouts Championship is on the line as Angelina Love (with Velvet Sky) challenges Madison Rayne. Angelina gets some help from Velvet during the match as she wears down Rayne. Rayne makes a comeback but Angelina gets back into it and almost wins it with a superkick. Madison hits a spear but the referee gets distracted by Velvet. Madison goes over to deal with it but she gets sprayed in the eye with hairspray. Angelina then takes advantage and rolls up Madison to get the win and become a 6-time Knockouts Champion. This was quite a decent match and I can see this feud continuing in the near future.
Winner: Angelina Love

We now get a tables match between Bully Ray and Bobby Roode. The match goes back and forth and they keep trying to put each other through a table set up in a corner. Bully does powerbomb Roode through the table. However, the referee goes down because he accidentally got hit in the face by Roode's leg when he get taken up for the powerbomb. Bully gets another table but Roode hits a RR Spinebuster. Bully tries to splash Roode through a table set up on the outside. However, Bully is pushed off by a bearded man and he goes through the table instead, as Roode moved out of the way. The bell suddenly rings, I assume because the referee recovered enough to see Bully go through the table, and Roode wins the match. It turns out that the bearded man is none other than Dixie Carter. I thought the match was pretty good. However, the ending really ruined. I didn't mind Dixie interfering. It just bugged me that the bell suddenly rang even though the referee was, to me, still down.
Winner: Bobby Roode

The main event is for the TNA World Championship as Eric Young defends the title against Magnus. Young spends the first part of the match keeping Magnus down before he gets hit with a back suplex. Despite Magnus best efforts, including applying a camel clutch and trying to blatantly cheat, Young hits a piledriver then a top rope elbow drop to get the win and retain the TNA World Championship. The match wasn't that great. It seemed to be at a very slow pace and not deserving of a main event. I'm not a fan of Eric Young but I know he and Magnus are capable of having better matches than this. I hope they can improve on this in the future.
Winner: Eric Young

I thought that TNA Sacrifice wasn't a bad event. However, it felt like more it was an episode of Impact than a Pay-Per-View. Slammiversary is TNA's next Pay-Per-View and I hope it will be a lot better than this event.
